D-TEC supplied the first vacuum tank-trailer to
its customer HP Enders from Fohren (Germany). This tank-trailer is unique
because of the pressurised vacuum system, the opening rear section and the
suction arm. In order to keep loading/unloading times as short as possible,
Enders has chosen to design the tank-trailer with a compact suction arm.
"We approached
D-TEC to develop this vacuum tank-trailer, as a result of the operating system.
We have various D-TEC tank-trailers in our fleet already and they can reach
tricky loading/unloading points with ease. This was an important aspect of this
tank-trailer too", explains H.P. Enders.
Enders uses this vacuum
tank-trailer to transport offal and fat. In order to be able to clean and empty
the trailer effectively, the rear has been designed to open up. It is lifted
hydraulically. In order to keep loading/unloading times as short as possible,
Enders chose to design the tank-trailer with a compact suction arm.
D-TEC has built
vacuum tank-trailers in the past, but none as comprehensive as this one. Over
the course of 2016, D-TEC will be further developing this concept and also
working on the ADR options herein.
