The Flexitrailer Traction has been specially
developed for the transport of heavy 20ft containers that are at the rear of
the chassis. The fifth wheel load is comparable with a heavy 20ft container in
the central position, as in other multifunctional chassis. You can also
transport 2x20ft, 30ft and 40ft. This container
trailer can be slid out in the centre and at the rear and uses a
sliding head bar that rolls over the gooseneck.
D-TEC
Flextrailer Traction is the lightest rigid chassis, with a standard deadweight
from 4.5 tons. Studies have shown that you can save 1000 litres of
diesel a year with
a 1000 kg lighter chassis. The
maintenance costs are extremely limited due to the robust, simple design. The
multifunctional chassis slides out fully mechanically, without any pneumatic
components. This guarantees optimum operation in all weather conditions and a
low outage. Using resilient, high strength steel enables the chassis to resist
a great deal of distortion. This means, for example, that loading errors are
less likely to cause permanent damage, thereby reducing repair costs.
The advantages of the D-TEC Flexitrailer Traction (S-line):
- 20ft container on rear position with enough pressure on driven axle: container up to ca. 25 ton with 25% on the driven axle, up to ca. 30 ton with 20% on driven axle.
